Vietnam Viettel Post
Project Background
The Viettel Post project in Vietnam is divided into two levels: the first floor features a matrix sorting area, while the second floor is equipped with two single-layer cross belt systems. The project aims to optimize the parcel handling process through advanced automation technology, enhancing overall operational efficiency to meet the rapidly growing demands of the logistics market.
Project Challenges
1. System Integration and Coordination: The project involves sorting systems across two levels, including 12 matrix wheel lines, 2 cross-belt systems, and an automated loading line.
2. Matrix and Cross-Belt Configuration:The matrix system includes 12 upper-level wheel lines and 5 outbound lines, while the cross belt systems consist of 386 carriers and 400 chute.
3. Automated Loading Process:The loading line utilizes a single-item separation system followed by a wheel sorting line for automated loading.
Project Solutions
1. Optimized Matrix Sorting System:
Configure 12 upper-level wheel sorting lines, 5 outbound lines, and 2 feeding lines. By optimizing the layout and operational strategies of the wheel sorting lines, the system ensures efficient handling of each parcel.
2. Double-Layer Cross-Belt Optimization:
Each cross belt system includes 386 carriers and 400 chute, ensuring stable operation at high speeds within the specified range.
Project Significance
1. Enhanced Processing Capacity:
Significantly increases sorting speed and processing capacity, efficiently handling the growing volume of parcels, thereby reducing backlog and processing time.
2. Improved Customer Satisfaction:
The efficient sorting and loading systems shorten parcel processing times and improve delivery speeds, enhancing the service experience and customer satisfaction. This provides Viettel Post with a competitive edge in the highly competitive market.
