Bulky parcels will be put on the bulky parcel conveyor by workers and transport to the other warehouse.

High value parcels will be put on the high value parcel conveyor by workers and transported to the AGV infeed area.

At the peak time, can let unload 6 more trucks. Goods can be put on the conveyor to the Matrix main line by free roller conveyor.

Medium parcel which size is over 400*400*400 mm and smaller than 1000*1000*800mm can go through DWS and be sorted to matrix under-line by wheel sorter.

Loading Area 

- Matrix will pre-sort parcels to 5 different loading areas. Each loading line will set a Visual Singulator. After singulator parcel will passing through 6-side scanner one by one. Operator don’t need to check the barcode information. System will automatic sorting the parcel to the right dock. With the Visual Singulator operator don’t need to check the destination, which can reduce the manpower and increase the loading capacity.

Near each induction, there’s a reject chute going to the reject line. If one parcel is not suitable to go to Cross-belt sorter or system tell operator that this parcel needs to be manual handling, operator will put this parcel into the induction reject chute and fall into the conveyor. Then conveyor will transport parcels into the AGV sorting area in the 1st floor through a spiral chute.

- There also have some small parcel which can not go on the Cross-belt sorter, all of them will transport into the AGV sorting area by the reject line.

- AGV sorting area will sort reject parcels and high value parcels. Then these parcels will be transported into the DWS of Matrix to go to the outbound.

- Operators will unpack bag and drop the parcels in the chutes.

- At the peak time, the unpacked area also has another function. The mezzanine have enough space for store the gunny bags. 

- Each induction is consisted with a barcode scanner, weighing scale sensors, dimension sensors, a handheld scanner and a PC with a keyboard and a mouse.

- Operators will take parcels from the chute and put them on the Induction one by one. 

- The induction will scan, dimension and weigh the parcel automatically. After that, parcels will be merged to the Cross belt loop.

- If auto scanner cannot read the barcode, this parcel will stop there and will not merge to the sorter. So that operators can use handheld scanner to scan it or manually key-in the barcode number into PC. 

- Near each induction, there’s a reject chute going to the ground floor. If one parcel is not suitable to go to sorter or system tell operators that this parcel needs to be manual handling, operators will put this parcel into the induction reject chute which will connect to an abnormal parcel line. This line will transport the abnormal parcels to Manual Sorting Area.

- After Cross belt sorting and Manual sorting, workers will take the gunny bag down and packed it, then put the gunny bag into return line which is under the Cross belt. The gunny bag will transport back to the Matrix and have Visual Singulator and 6-side sorting machine to sort the gunny bags into the loading lines.

Conveyable Parcels
